Usage Features:

The dishwasher offers a range of programs and settings for flexible use:

  • Programs:
    • Intensive: For heavily soiled crockery, pots, pans, and dishes with dried-on food.
    • ECO (EN 50242): Standard program for normally soiled tableware, offering the most efficient energy and water consumption.
    • Glass: For lightly soiled crockery and glass.
    • 90 min: For normally soiled loads that need quick wash.
    • Rapid: A shorter wash for lightly soiled loads that do not need drying.
    • Self-Cleaning: Program for effective cleaning of the dishwasher itself.
    • Soak: To rinse dishes that you plan to wash later.
  • Control Panel: Features buttons for Power, Program selection, Delay start, Function (Extra Drying), Half-load, Child lock, and Start/Pause.
  • Display: Shows program indicators (Intensive, ECO, Glass, 90 min, Rapid, Self-Cleaning, Soak), warning indicators (Rinse Aid, Salt, Water Faucet), and screen for reminding time, delay time, and error codes.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for the dishwasher's longevity and performance:

  • External Care: Clean the door seals and control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Internal Care (Filtering System): The filtering system (main filter, coarse filter, fine filter) should be regularly cleaned to remove food remnants. Instructions are provided for disassembling and cleaning the filters.
  • Spray Arms: Clean the spray arms regularly to prevent clogging of jets and bearings. Remove the upper and lower spray arms for thorough cleaning with soapy water and a soft brush.
  • Caring for the Dishwasher:
    • Frost Precaution: Take frost protection measures in winter, including cutting off electrical power, turning off water supply, draining water from inlet pipe and water valve, and reconnecting.
    • After Every Wash: Turn off the water supply and leave the door slightly open to prevent moisture and odors.
    • Remove the Plug: Always remove the plug before cleaning or performing maintenance.
    • No Solvents or Abrasive Cleaning: Use only soft soap and water for cleaning exterior and rubber parts.
    • When Not in Use for a Long Time: Run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty, turn off water supply, remove plug, and leave door open.
    • Moving the Appliance: Keep the appliance in a vertical position when moving.
    • Seals: Regularly clean door seals to prevent food remains from forming within the appliance.
  • Troubleshooting Tips: A detailed table is provided to identify problems, possible causes, and corresponding solutions (e.g., dishwasher doesn't start, water not pumped, suds in tub, stained tub, white film, rust stains, knocking noise, rattling noise, dishes not clean, cloudiness, white spots, black/grey marks, detergent left, dishes aren't drying).

  • Warning: Knives and other utensils with sharp points must be loaded in the basket with their points facing down or placed in a horizontal position.
  • Some dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline; avoid contact with skin and eyes.
  • Check that the detergent powder is empty after completion of the wash cycle.
  • Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked "dishwasher safe."
  • Do not use soap, laundry detergent, or hand washing detergent.
  • The door should not be left open to increase the risk of tripping.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent.
  • During installation, the power supply must not be excessively or dangerously bent or flattened.
  • Do not tamper with controls.
  • The appliance needs to be connected to the main water valve using new hose sets. Old sets should not be reused.
  • To save energy, in stand-by mode, the appliance will switch off automatically after 30 minutes.
  • Electrical Shock Hazard: Disconnect electrical power before installing.
  • Water Supply and Drain: Connect to a threaded 3/4-inch connector. Ensure the safety supply hose is properly connected and not blocked.
  • Drain Hose: Insert into a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 4 cm, or run into the sink, making sure to avoid bending or crimping. The height of the drain pipe must be less than 1000mm.
  • Positioning: The appliance should rest against the wall behind it, and the sides, along the adjacent cabinets or walls. Ensure it is level.
  • Underneath Existing Work Top: If fitting beneath a work top, ensure the screws under the rear edge of the top are unscrewed. The height will be reduced to 815mm.
