There are 6 levels of salt consumption in all. It is recommended to select the level
according to below table:
1) German degree of measurement for the water hardness
2) Millimol, international unit for water hardness
3) Factory setting
4) Regeneration of water softener. The water softener must be regeneration
regularly so as to maintain the softening function. During the every
regeneration, an additional 0.2 litres of water is required, energy
consumption is increased by 0.01kWh and the programme is extended by
4 minutes.
Contact your local water board for information on the hardness of your
water supply.
