9.2 CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
1. Remove the screw securing the silencer cover and open. Remove the
sponge air lter.
2. Wash the sponge air lter with detergent and water. Rinse thoroughly when
cleaned.
3. Squeeze out all excess water and allow to dry completely.
4. Lightly coat the sponge air lter with engine oil. Squeeze to distribute and
wring out any excess oil.
5. Place the cover back on and secure with the screw.
