4.4 SURVEY YOUR AREA
Familiarize yourself with the area in which you plan to operate the tiller.
Mark off all boundaries of where you plan to till.
Ensure the area to be tilled is free of debris or objects that could be
picked up by the tines and thrown.
Ensure the operating area is clear of bystanders, especially children and
pets. Be alert and turn the unit off if bystanders enter the area. Use extra
care when approaching blind corners, shrubs, tress, or other objects
that may obscure vision.
