9.1 MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Regular maintenance will improve performance and extend the service life. Maintain
the tiller according to the maintenance schedule below.
NOTE
Service more frequently when used in dusty areas or adverse
conditions.
These items should be serviced by an authorized service center unless
you have the proper tools and are mechanically procient. Refer to user
guide for service procedures.
Before Each Use
Check/change engine oil level
Clean debris from unit
First 10 Hours
Lubricate all pivot points
Check fasteners for tightness
Check/replace tines
Check/clean air lter
First 25 Hours or First Month
Check/replace drive belts
Check fuel line
Lubricate wheel axle
Check spark plug
First 50 Hours or 3 Months
Change engine oil

Clean air lter

Every 100 Hours or 6 Months
Replace spark plug
Clean air lter

Every 300 Hours or 12 Months
Replace air lter

Replace air lter if it cannot be adequately cleaned.

Change oil after every 100 hours or yearly, whichever comes rst. Service more
frequently when operating under heavy load or in high temperatures.
