When to change the charcoal filters
Always replace the charcoal filters
when they no longer absorb kitchen
odours effectively.
They should, however, be replaced at
least every 2 years.
The operating hours counter will remind
you to replace the charcoal filters by
lighting up the charcoal filter symbol .
Resetting the charcoal filter
operating hours counter
After changing the charcoal filters, the
operating hours counter needs to be re-
set.
Touch the Charcoal filter control
for approx. 3 seconds with the
cooker hood switched on until only
the indicator light for level 1 is
flashing.
The Charcoal filter symbol will go
out.
If you want to replace the charcoal
filters before the operating hours
counter has reached its maximum:
Touch the Charcoal filter control
for approx. 6 seconds until only the
indicator light for level 1 is flashing.
Disposing of charcoal filters
Used charcoal filters can be disposed
of with the normal household waste.
Reactivatable charcoal filters

available for this cooker hood. They can
be used several times after being
reactivated in the oven.
They are supplied with their own fitting
and usage instructions which must be
observed.

from your Miele dealer (see end of this
booklet for contact details).
