Safety lock
Keep children away from the hob for
their own safety. In addition, your
appliance is equipped with a safety
lock to prevent children switching on
the hob and cooking zones or altering
the settings.
The safety lock can only be activated
and de-activated when the hob is
switched on.
When the safety lock is activated:
–
the cooking zone power setting
cannot be changed.
– the cooking zones and the hob can
only be switched off by pressing the
ON / OFF sensor s.
– if the hob is then switched back on
again, the cooking zones can no
longer be operated.
To activate the safety lock:

Touch the sensor for the safety lock
L until the indicator lamp above it
comes on.
To de-activate the safety lock:
^
Touch the sensor for the safety lock
L until the indicator lamp above it
goes out.
