Problem Cause and remedy
The alarm tone is
sounding.
The message
Drain appears in the
display.
Before rectifying the problem:
 Switch the dishwasher off.
Water drainage fault.
There might be water in the wash cabinet.
 Clean the filter combination (see the “Cleaning the
filters” section in the “Cleaning and care” chapter).
 Clean the drain pump (see the “Cleaning the drain
pump” section in the “Cleaning and care” chapter).
 Remove any kinks or loops in the drain hose.
