Installation
~
This dishwasher may only be used
in mobile installations (e.g. ships) if a
risk assessment of the installation has
been carried out by a suitably qualified
engineer.
~
Do not install the dishwasher in an
area where there is any danger of ex
-
plosion or of freezing conditions.
~
To ensure stability, “i” and “U” mo
-
del dishwashers must only be installed
under a continuous worktop which is
securely screwed to neighbouring
units.
Safety with children
~
Supervise children when they are
anywhere near the dishwasher. Do not
let them play with it or use the controls.
~
Older children may only use the
dishwasher unsupervised if they have
been taught how to use it safely. They
must be aware of the potential dangers
caused by incorrect operation.

To avoid the risk of injury do not al
-
low young children to play in or around
the dishwasher, or to operate it. There
is a danger that children playing might
shut themselves in the cabinet.
Accessories
~
Only use genuine Miele spare parts
and accessories with this appliance.
The use of non-Miele parts and acces
-
sories will invalidate the guarantee.

Any Miele accessories must be suit
-
able for the purpose they are being
used for. Consult Miele for advice.
Disposing of an old dishwas
-

For environmental and safety rea

sons ensure the wash cabinet is com

pletely drained of any residual water
and cleaning agent. (Observe safety re-
gulations and wear safety goggles and
gloves).
Make the door lock inoperable, so that
children cannot accidentally shut them-
selves in. Then make arrangements for
its safe disposal (see: Caring for the en-
vironment).
With tank system dishwashers make
sure that water is also drained out of
the tank.
