Problem Cause and remedy
The SmartLine element
has switched off auto-
matically. When the ele-
ment is switched back
on, appears above the
On/Off sensor con-
trol.
One or more of the sensor controls are covered, e.g.
by finger contact, food boiling over or an object.
Clean off any dirt and/or remove the object (see
“Safety features” – “Safety switch-off”).
After the SmartLine ele-
ment has been
switched on appears
in the timer display for a
short while. The Smart-
Line element does not
heat up.
The SmartLine element is in demonstration mode.
Touch the0 and 2 sensor controls at the same
time until flashes alternately with in the
timer display.
The wok has switched
itself off automatically.
It has been operated for too long.
Switch the wok back on again (see “Safety fea-
tures” – “Safety switch off”).
The overheating protection mechanism has been ac-
tivated.

The Booster has deac-
tivated early automatic-
ally.
