What to do, if . . . Cause . . . Remedy . . .
. . . the machine shakes dur
-
ing the spin cycle.
Level the machine. See installa
-
tion.
. . . the laundry has not been
spun satisfactorily
The spin speed selected was
too low.
Select a higher spin speed next
time.
The load was not distributed
evenly enough in the drum. To
protect the machine laundry was
only spun at a reduced speed.
Always mix large and small
items in the load.
. . . the pump makes strange
noises.
These noises occur at the be
-
ginning or end of a pump se
-
quence as a normal part of op
-
eration. They are not a fault.
. . . the drum opening is not
in the correct loading and un
-
loading position.
Imbalance has prevented auto
-
matic drum positioning.
Turn the drum manually to the
correct position (until the
autopositioning mechanism
engages).
Always mix large and small
items in the load. This im-
proves cleaning efficiency
and ensures better distribu-
tion of laundry in the spin cy-
cle.
