Opening the lid in the event of
a power failure
^ Switch off the washing machine.
^ Open the fluff (drain) filter and drain
the water as described in "Cleaning
and care" - section "Cleaning fluff fil-
ter and pump".
^
Pull the emergency release cord
downwards until the machine outer
lid opens.
^
Open the inner lid.
Always make sure that the drum is
stationary before reaching into the
machine to remove washing.
Reaching into a moving drum is ex-
tremely dangerous.
To check water pressure
^
Place a bucket under the stopcock.
^
Open the stopcock fully.
If 5 litres of water flow into the bucket
within 15 seconds the water pressure is
correct.
