of a programme
Fault message Possible cause Remedy
Heating fault
The washing machine
was unable to heat up.
Start the programme again.
If the fault message appears
again, contact Miele.
Chk detergent
Excessive foam has built
up during washing.
Use less detergent next time
and follow the manufacturer's
instructions on dosage given on
the packaging.
Hygiene info
A programme of at least
60°C has not been run for
a long period of time.
Run the Cottons 75°C
programme with a universal
detergent to prevent the
formation of organic deposits
and unpleasant odours in the
machine.
