If the motor of your Mile Marker Winches doesn't turn on, there are several potential causes and solutions: * Ensure the Safety Switch is in the ON position. * Check that the Switch assembly is firmly connected to the connector. * Tighten any loose nuts on the battery cable connectors. * Try tapping the solenoid to free the contact while applying 12 volts directly to the coil terminal to check for an audible click. * Consider replacing the Switch assembly if it's defective. * Check for voltage at the armature port with the switch pressed; if voltage is present, the motor may need replacement. * If water has entered the motor, drain and dry it, then run it in short bursts without load until completely dry.
