The water flow through the SDS is shown here in a flow diagram. A description of each item is below.
ITEM FUNCTION
Inlet
Where purified water enters into the SDS.
Level sensor
A device that measures the water level in the reservoir in % full, liters or gallons.
Sanitary overflow
Where water goes if the SDS is filled beyond its capacity. The water is sent to drain.
Back pressure valve
A valve that opens at a specific pressure thus creating a constant pressure in a distribution loop.
Distribution pump
Used to pump water from the SDS to a distribution loop (standard version).
