What to do if the line fuse blows in my Minarik PCM23001A?
    • K
      Kyle GreenAug 2, 2025
If the line fuse blows in your Minarik Controller, first ensure the line fuses are the correct size. Check the motor cable and armature for shorts to ground. Nuisance tripping can also occur due to ambient conditions and high-current spikes; consider adding a blower to cool the drive components, decreasing TORQUE settings, or resizing the motor and drive for the actual load demand. Also, check for incorrectly aligned mechanical components or “jams”. If the field circuit is open, send the drive to the Minarik repair department.

Why my Minarik Controller motor will not reach the desired speed?
    • R
      Ryan DavidsonAug 7, 2025
If the motor isn't reaching the desired speed on your Minarik Controller, it might be due to several reasons. First, check if the MAX SPD setting is too low and increase it. Also, verify the IR COMP setting and increase it if needed. Finally, the motor could be overloaded, so check the motor load and consider resizing the motor and drive if necessary.

What to do if line fuse doesn't blow but the motor does not run on my Minarik PCM23001A Controller?
    • I
      Isaiah StanleyAug 11, 2025
If the line fuse doesn't blow but the motor won't run on your Minarik Controller, start by increasing the speed adjust pot or signal input setting, as it might be set to zero. Ensure that the speed adjust pot or signal input connections are not open. Check if the motor is jammed and increase the CURR. LIMIT setting. Verify that the drive is receiving AC line voltage at L1 and L2, and that the motor is properly connected to A1 and A2.

Why does my Minarik PCM23001A motor pulsate or surge under load?
    • S
      Samuel JonesAug 17, 2025
If the motor pulsates or surges under load with your Minarik Controller, it may be because the IR COMP is set too high. Adjust the IR COMP setting slightly counter-clockwise until the motor speed stabilizes. Also, ensure that the motor has sufficient horsepower and amperage, as the control might be in current limit mode.

    Catherine MillerAug 21, 2025
How to fix if Minarik Controller motor runs too fast at maximum speed setting?
    • M
      Monica PadillaAug 21, 2025
If the motor runs too fast at the maximum speed setting on your Minarik Controller, it could be due to the MIN SPD and MAX SPD settings being too high. Recalibrate MIN SPD and MAX SPD. Also, if you're using shunt-wound motors, check for loose field connections.

What to do if Minarik Controller motor runs too slow or too fast?
    • S
      Susan KaufmanAug 27, 2025
If the motor runs either too slow or too fast with your Minarik Controller, the MIN SPD and MAX SPD settings may not be calibrated properly. Calibrate MIN SPD and MAX SPD.
