4) FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
1. Protection: Protect the scale and pointer against possible damage.
2. Scale: Scales the instrument measures.
3. Pointer Indicator: Indicates the value of reading.
4. Mechanical Zero Adjustment
5. HFE socket: Socket to measure the hFE of NPN and PNP tran-
sistors.
6. Rotary Switch: Turns the instrument and selects function and
range of measurement.
7. + AVΩ: Positive terminal for connecting the red test for the
measurement of AC and DC voltage and DC current up to 250mA.
8. -COM: Common terminal for connecting the black probe for all
measures except hFE.
9. DC 10A: Positive terminal for connecting the red probe to measure
the current between 250mA and 10A.
10. Potentiometer Adjustment 0Ω: Zera the scale at full strength.
