MEMORY FUNCTION
By
using
the memory f
unction,
you
can
store
and
compare
measurements
of different
areas of
a scene
or of d ifferent
light
sou
rces.
Two
measu
rements
can
be
stored
in the meter's
memory
and are indicated
by
pointers
on
the analog scale.
The
stored measure-
ments
can
be
recalled
to the
digital
display
by
pres-
sing the On
lRecdl
button.
To
store
measurements in
the
memory,
the NORM/
ANALYZE switch
must
be
set
to
"NORM".
How
to
store measurements:
1 .
After
taking
a
meas-
urement,
press
the mem-
ory
("M"1
button.
A
memory
indicator
(black
dot)
appears
to the right
of
the analog
scale when
a
measu rement
is
stored
in the memory.
o
When
the contrast
scale
is displayed,
a
pointer
will
appear
above
the
t'0"
posi-
tion .
When
the f
-number
scale
is displayed,
a
pointer
appears
above
the correspond
ing
t-
number
when
the
measurement
is
taken.

measurement.
Measurements remain
stored
until
the
memory-
clear

key
is
pressed
or
as
long
as
battery
power
lasts.
The

Display
A
maximum
of
two
measu rements
can
be
stored
in the
memory. lf
you
press
the
memory
key
after two
measu
re-
ments have
been stored,
a
farge letter

will
appear.
The
error

in either of two
