shadow
("S")
key. The
read ing
will
be stored
in the
memory
and
the
shadow
exposure
will
be
calcu-
lated
automatically.
The
f-number
setting
required
for
proper
exposure
of
the shadow
area
will
be
indicated by the
digital
f-number display.
The
"
E"
mark
indicates
that a
shadow calculation
is
displayed.
When the
contrast
scale
is displayed,
the
pointer
appears
above
the small
letter
"S"
to
indicate that
the
exposure
has been
decreased
2.7 stops.
When
the
f-number
scale
is
displayed,
the
right
pointer
indicates
the shadow calcu
la-
tion,
and
the left
pointer
indicates the
measured area.
Before
pressing
the
shadow
"S"
key,
you
can
store
two measurements in
the
memory.
The
shadow
calculation will be
based on
the
lower measure-
ment.
Once
the shadow
("S")
key
is
pressed,
the shadow
calculation
cannot
be
stored
in
the
memory.
lf only one measurement
is memorized,
shadow
calculation is based on this
measurements.
