Minolta MOTOR DRIVE 1 - Motor Drive Operation; Using the Selector Dial

OPERATION
The Motor Drive 1 can be actuated in
several ways: by either of its two touch
switch/operating buttons, the camera's touch
switch/operating button, or by a remote cord
or cable release connected to the camera's
remote-release socket.
However, to use any of these the selector
dial on top of the Motor Drive 1's grip must
first be set at one of its three operating
positions ("S", "Lo", or "Hi") (H, I, J). To
turn the dial, depress and hold down the
selector-dial release (G-1) and turn the dial to
the desired operating position (G-2). When the
desired operating indication is aligned with the
white index line on the grip, take your finger
off the selector-dial release and the dial will
lock in place. The dial locks at all four
indication positions, and the release must be
used to move the dial from one position to
another.
The selector dial permits choice of three
operating speeds, they are as follows:

Weise in Betrieb setzen: Entweder mit einem
der beiden „touch-switch"-Ausl6ser am Griff
Oder mit dem „touch-switch"-Ausl6ser der
Kamera Oder mit einem Auslosekabel bzw.
Drahtausloser an der Kamera.
Fur den Motorbetrieb muU zuerst der
Hauptschalter an der Oberseite des Griffs auf
eine der drei moglichen Funktionen „S", „Lo"
Oder „Hi" (H, I, J) eingestellt werden. Um den
Hauptschalter in die gewiinschte Position
drehen zu konnen (G-2), halten Sie die Haupt-
schalter-Entsperrung gedruckt (G-1). Steht die
gewiinschte Funktionsbezeichnung am weilJen
Indexstrich, lassen Sie den Entsperrknopf los
und und rasten den Hauptschalter in der
richtigen Position ein. Alle vier markierten
Positionen sind arretiert und zum Drehen des
Hauptschalters muU jeweils die Entsperrung
gedruckt werden.
Am Hauptschalter lassen sich drei ver¬
schiedene, nachstehend beschriebene Funk-
tionsformen einstellen:
