SPOT METERING MODE
In Spot Metering mode, the camera sets
exposure based on the area inside the spot-
metering circle. Use this mode to photograph
strongly back-lit or spot-lit subjects.
1.Press the subject-program button
until is above .
• Flash cancel is initially set, but any other flash
mode can be selected.
2.Align your subject within the spot-
metering circle, then take the picture.
✎ The back-light detection of autoflash and autoflash with red-eye
reduction does not operate in spot metering mode.
