Usage Features:
- Folding and Securing: The eBike frame can be folded by pressing a red lever and pulling a black handle outwards to release the locking mechanism. To secure, connect the two halves and push the black locking handle until it clicks. The stem also folds, secured by a black lever. Pedals are foldable by pulling an inner chrome latch.
- Adjustments:
- Handlebar Height: Open the clamp to raise or lower the handlebar. Ensure the clamp is fully closed before riding and do not extend higher than the grooved lines.
- Seat Height: Open the seat clamp, push the seat post into the frame to the minimum insertion mark, and close the clamp. The saddle height can be further adjusted by lifting a lever on the seat post.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the LCD screen for 3 seconds to turn on. Hold again to turn off. The display powers off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity.
- LCD Display: Shows power assistance level, throttle engaged, riding speed, average speed, maximum speed, battery capacity, battery voltage, brake status, headlight indicator, display backlight, ambient temperature, power display, trip distance, total distance, and single trip time.
- Assistance Levels: Use the up and down arrows on the display to increase or decrease the power assist level (5 levels available).
- Walk Assist Mode: When pushing the bike, hold the down arrow button for 6km/h (4mph) power assist. Releasing the button stops the assistance.
- Thumb Throttle Assist:
- Provides walk assist or start assist without pedalling up to a legal maximum of 4mph (speed may vary with rider weight and incline).
- Provides a full power boost (equivalent to level 5) when pedalling, ideal for speedy set-offs, quick boosts, or inclines.
- Headlight Control: Hold the up arrow on the display to turn the headlight on or off.
- Battery Installation/Removal: Turn off power and fold the eBike frame. Unlock the battery lock with the key. Pull the battery out using its handle. To re-insert, push the battery into position, lock with the key, and fold the handle down.
- Charging:
- Option 1: Open the rubber charging port grommet on the bike, insert the charging cable, then plug into mains and switch on.
- Option 2: Fold the bike, remove the battery, plug the charger into the battery port, then plug into mains and switch on.
- Changing Gear:
- To increase gear: Turn the twist grip away from you.
- To reduce gear: Turn the twist grip towards you (requires stopping pedalling or reducing pressure on pedals for engagement).
- No need to be riding or moving to change gear.
- Safety Advice: Always wear a helmet and highly visible protective clothing. Avoid riding close to vehicles. Throttle speed is limited to 6 km/h in public areas. Always ride with both hands on the handlebar. Do not ride on stairs or escalators. Ensure the bike is powered off or assistance is set to "0" when dismounting. Do not ride in icy conditions. Do not use under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Ensure brakes are fully functioning.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Servicing: Recommended after the first 100 miles or 6 weeks (whichever comes sooner) by a qualified mechanic or authorised MiRIDER dealer.
- Gearbox Service: Requires regular service by an authorised MiRIDER dealer due to specialist oil and moving parts. Service interval is every 500 miles.
- Storage: Store in a secure, cool, and dry place. Do not store in wet, freezing, or hot conditions. Keep battery away from water, fire, and heat.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the eBike with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use chemical solvents or a pressure washer.
- Pre-ride Checks:
- Brakes: Ensure front and back brakes offer sufficient stopping power.
- Tyres: Check for damage, sufficient tread, and pressure (up to 60 psi).
- Wheels: Check for damage, wear, and tear; ensure all nuts, bolts, and spokes are tight.
- Shock Absorber: Check for free movement with no knocking noise.
- Throttle: Check it deactivates when released and moves freely.
- Wires/Cables: Ensure no visible damage.
- Screws/Bolts: Check for loose fastenings and tighten as required.
- Battery: Ensure LCD shows full indicator after a full charge.

Warranty:
A 2-year warranty covers the frame, motor, gearbox, battery, electronic cabling, LCD display, throttle, and electronic brake cut-offs. A 1-year warranty covers the charger, lights, and all non-wearing mechanical parts. Warranty claims are not upheld for damage due to incorrect maintenance, abnormal use, accidental damage, prolonged exposure to moisture/liquid, external factors (shocks, lightning, surges, short circuits), excess exposure to elements (e.g., rust), modification of electrical components or additions not included when purchased, paint/varnish/graphics, or wearing parts (tyres, brake pads, cables, grips, freewheels). Warranties are non-transferable and can be voided if maintenance guidelines are not followed or if display screen settings are altered.
