CARE AND CLEANING
Cleaning
This section contains information on how to clean the painted, vinyl and
carpeted surfaces on your MirroCraft boat. Do not use any cleaners containing
chlorine or petroleum solvents as they may damage the finished surfaces of your
boat.
NOTE: Before using a cleaning chemical not recommended by MirroCraft test in
an inconspicuous area for any adverse affects.
Hull Care
CAUTION:
Do not use any abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on the
finish of your MirroCraft boat!
The finish on your MirroCraft boat is a baked-on urethane finish. To clean the
painted surfaces on your boat, first rinse off all loose particles with a hose and
then wash with warm water and a nonabrasive cleaner. Thoroughly rinse all
detergent away. When boat is dry you may apply a coat of wax to the exterior
painted surfaces. Contact your local dealer for a recommended marine wax.
NOTE: Do not wax olive drab, willow or dead grass brown. These are flat
finish paints that only need washing with warm water and nonabrasive soap.
NOTICE:
After use in salt water rinse hull and bilge area with fresh
water to remove salt residue.
