LAUNCHING
Prelaunching inspection
Before launching your boat it is recommended that you do the following:
Inspect the hull and propeller for damage.
Check electrical system and navigation lights.
Check the operation of the bilge pump.
Install drain plug.
Check that all safety equipment that is required is in the boat and is in
operable condition.
Do a visual check of motor for any problems.
Check fuel level.
Remove engine support bracket if used and tilt motor to its highest
position.
Before backing down the boat ramp check the following:
Remove tie downs
Secure all gear
Check safety equipment
Disconnect trailer lights to prevent shorting
Launching and Loading
Follow the recommendations supplied in the manual that came with your boat
trailer.
