No initial combustion (starting impossible)
Probable cause
In cases such as the above, the cause is probably that a spark plug is defective,
or that the supply of fuel to the combustion chamber is defective.
In addition, foreign materials (water, kerosene, etc.) may be mixed with the fuel.

Check the following items.

Check the ignition coil, spark plugs, spark plug cables.

Check if the injectors are clogged.
D
Check if foreign materials (water, alcohol, etc.) got into fuel.

Check the compression pressure.

Check the immobilizer system.
Yes
Measure at the ignition coil connector B-09
D
Connect an engine tachometer, which detects primary
voltage, to terminal 3 while the engine is cranking.
OK:
The engine tachometer indicates cranking speed.
No
Checktheignition circuit system (Refer to P.13A-174,INSPECTION
PROCEDURE 31.)

Can any sound be heard from the injectors when cranking?
No
Check the injector system. (Refer to P.13A-127, INSPECTION
PROCEDURE FOR DIAGNOSIS CODE P0201, P0202, P0203,
P0204, P0205, P0206.)
