5 Apply engine oil to the camshaft oil
baths of all the cylinder heads.
• Apply oil through the cylinder heads.
• Oil capacity per cylinder: 0.8 L [0.21 US gal.]
(as a guide)
• Tool: Oiler, oil jug, and others.

6 Install the rocker covers onto all the
cylinder heads.
• Tool: Wrench

■ Engine Oil Level - Check
After filling engine oil, check and adjust the engine
oil level.
1 Check the specified level of the
engine oil. "SPECIFICATIONS -
CHECK" (→ Page 10)
2 Pull out the oil level gauge (1) slowly
and wipe off the engine oil with a
waste cloth.

3 Insert the oil level gauge fully into
the oil level gauge guide and then
pull it out slowly.
Keep away from fire, when checking
the engine oil level.
* It may cause a fire.
