Upon installation, the Modbar steam module must be primed before use. This is accomplished by the following steps.
During general use, the module is already primed, and it is not necessary to prime the system. To start the module, follow these steps.
Resets all system settings to their original factory default values.
Manually fills the boiler if the fill probe is not functioning correctly, until service is possible.
Navigates to the screen for updating the system software via USB.
Before performing any maintenance, turn off power and disconnect the machine from the power source.
Important for equipment longevity and beverage quality; follow specific procedures.
Clean immediately after use with a damp cloth and a short burst of steam.
Turn off power, then pull steam tap lever to dispense until steam ceases.
Verify power switch is in operating mode. Check safety reset switches which are internal and not user resettable.
Check water level, pressure, and if tap handle is properly engaging the internal drive shaft.
Verify water supply and pressure. Check status for 'Filling'. Scale on fill probe or boiler may require cleaning/descaling.
