Why won't my moore o matic Garage Door Opener close?
    • C
      Carol RobertsonAug 27, 2025
If your moore o matic Garage Door Opener won't close, a potential cause is a safety beam obstruction. Check both safety beams to ensure they have a small GREEN light. One side should have both a GREEN and RED light. If a side doesn't have a GREEN light, check the beam screw terminals for loose wires and wire staples for compressed or cut wires. If both sides have a GREEN light but the receiver lacks a bright RED light, ensure nothing blocks the beam path and check beam alignment until the RED alignment light glows brightly. If all wires are attached and both RED & GREEN lights are bright, check if one of the beams is in direct sunlight; if so, switch their positions.
