ELI 380 Quick Reference Guide with Barcode Scanner
1. Open ECG cover, press power button
2. Enter your user name, or select from drop-down list if you recently signed in
3. Enter your password and select
Successful sign-in will take you to the real-time ECG display
4. Prep patient skin (clip hair, clean, & abrade)
5. Place electrodes on patient and connect lead wires
6. If using the Wireless Acquisition Module (WAM), turn on
7. Select
8. Scan the patient barcode
9. Confirm selected information is correct and select
10. Acquire an ECG by selecting
To save and send ECG
1. Select to transmit ECG
2. Ensure you see the message
“1/1 ECG(s) Transmitted” then select OK
3. Select to save the ECG and
return to real-time display
To delete and acquire new ECG
1. Select
2. When prompted to “Erase ECG?” select YES
3. Acquire an ECG by selecting
4. Select to transmit ECG
5. Ensure you see the message
“1/1 ECG(s) Transmitted” then select OK
6. Select to save the ECG and
return to real-time display
