What to do if squared lines appear on Mortara X-Scribe display?
    • N
      Nicholas GomezAug 23, 2025
If you see squared lines on the multi-lead rhythm display or during an exercise test, it may be due to a lead fail from poor skin-to-electrode contact, a broken lead wire/cable, or a channel mismatch between the transmitter and X-Scribe. Correct the faulty lead(s) identified in the upper right corner of the screen. If needed, replace the patient cable or match the channel of the transmitter to the channel on X-Scribe.

Why won't my Mortara X-Scribe Medical Equipment treadmill turn on?
    • G
      grantjamieAug 26, 2025
If the treadmill does not respond to the ON command from X-Scribe, it might be due to incorrect power-up sequence, the treadmill power switch being off, an improperly attached treadmill cable, an engaged emergency stop switch, or incorrect treadmill settings. Turn the treadmill OFF using the Softkey menu, then turn the power to the treadmill OFF. Wait one minute, then turn the power back ON and proceed with the test. Ensure the treadmill to X-Scribe cable connections are secure and the treadmill main power switch is ON (located at the base of the treadmill hood, left side). Reset the emergency stop switch by turning it clockwise one-quarter turn. Reset X-Scribe. Set the treadmill to the proper setting for the corresponding treadmill.

A discrepancy between the BP printout and report can occur if the BP field is used to enter new blood pressure values. The BP value MUST BE entered through the F3 key. Charles CampbellSep 3, 2025
If you are experiencing packet errors or signal drop (wireless option), and the signal onscreen shows artifact even when tested with a simulator, check that no medical equipment is operating at the same frequency in proximity to the system. Run the built-in spectrum analyzer to locate the source of the interference and to set the proper channel on the digital transmitter.
