System Settings
From the System Settings screen, the user can set or change the AC line frequency and the RF channel (wireless
option). In addition, the user can perform an RF scan to determine what channel has the least amount of RF activity
present (when using the wireless version of X-Scribe).
Source — Use the drop-down menu to select source of patient signal input (PCMCIA or USB interface).
USB Type — USB type is active when USB interface is selected as source.
Select Wired if using a direct-connect ECG cable from the patient to the USB device, or if using a quick-
connect ECG cable from the patient to the CPU.
Select Wireless if using either a 608 MHz or 2500 MHz RF interface.
AC Frequency — Use the drop-down menu to select the AC frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz). Set frequency to
that used in the country of operation. (60 Hz for U.S.)
RF Channel — Setting must match between the digital transmitter and X-Scribe. To change channels on the
digital transmitter, refer to the transmitter user manual.
Free Mouse — When selected, mouse is able to move freely throughout the X-Scribe display. This setting
applies only when using a 19” display.
Click Save System Settings to save any changes or Exit to cancel without saving.
