Setting a Standard User Configuration
To ensure network communication continues to function as intended, the system can be configured to run as a
standard user that will prompt for an Administrator password.
CAUTION: When running X-Scribe under any user other than Local Administrator, the network card may
not be correctly disabled when performing a stress test which may cause unintended behavior.
Exit the X-Scribe application. From the Desktop:
Right click the X-Scribe icon and select Properties.
Under the Compatibility tab, select Change setting for all users.
Check the Run this program as an Administrator box.
You are then prompted to provide a valid administrative user name and password.
NOTE: All users will have administrative privileges within the X-Scribe application only.
