1. Individual CI73 can be switched to the override mode through control terminals . In this mode, it is possible to
manually operate the single actuator's forward and backward movements from terminals or hand control
to help actuator maintenance or replacement.
2. In a synchronized system that has been previously learned, if any CI73 unit switches to the override mode, the
other CI73 units can continue to operate under the control of a master CI73. However, the CI73 unit in the
override mode will not accept commands from the master unit.
3. In the override mode, the position of this actuator is possibly be moved to a different one from others in the
synchronized system. After the override mode is turned off and waiting for about 1 second, then you can operate
moving in/out function through the master CI73. The leading actuator during movement will stop and wait for
everyone to catch up and keep synchronization. As long as the cable of actuator has never disconnected from the
CI73, there is no need to re-learn the stroke. However, please note that during this process, if the system
mechanism cannot tolerate the aforementioned situation (i.e. there is a temporary gap in the position), the
actuator's position must be restored to the same position before the actuator is installed on the frame.
4. In a synchronized system after 'Stroke Learning', if any CI73 unit is disconnected from its synchronization
communication port, as long as the other CI73 units kept the communication connection, the situation and
influence to the system of it is equivalent to one that switched to the override mode.
5. Please refer to section 'Precautions Before Installation'. As long as any CI73 unit of the system has been operated
in override mode, we encourage users to re-execute the 'Stroke Learning' function if possible.

Override Mode / Actuator Maintenance & Replacement
1. All actuators to be synchronized must be of the same model and specification, including dimensions.
2. Actuators without physical limit switches can be supported, but the setting switch on CI73 must be set correctly.
3. Retract all actuator to the end before installation.
4. CI73 itself has no distinction between master and slave in terms of specifications. The one that receives the
control signal from the control terminal first is the master control of the group.
5. Individuals in the synchronization group will not respond to new control signals until they finish responding to
the control of the current master and stop.
6. After the installation is complete, be sure to execute the ‘Stroke Learning’ function before starting the formal
operation.
7. As long as the actuator is not replaced or moved while the CI73 is powered off, there is no need to relearn the
stroke.
8. According to the specifications and quantity of actuators, prepare a 24 ~ 29VDC power supply with sufficient
power.

When purchasing the HM-6R hand control
The forward/backward functions (momentary switch) synchronously
When the / control button is pressed, the device will start moving, and once the button is released, the device
will stop moving.
Position memory function
(1) Press and hold the button for more than 2 seconds; the LED indicator will flash rapidly.
Then, press the desired memory positions , or . The LED indicator will flash twice then off,
indicating that this position has been memorized.
(2) Press and release one of the position buttons, all the actuators in connection will automatically and
synchronously move to the previously stored position and stop.
Stroke learning
When and buttons are simultaneously pressed for 2 seconds,
it will enter learning mode and automatically move the actuators to seek
the upper and lower limits. If any button is pressed during this process,
the learning will be interrupted.
