  If your Motomaster Battery Charger isn't detecting the battery, first connect the battery to the charger before connecting the charger to AC power. Ensure battery posts are clean and rock clamps back and forth on battery posts to ensure a good connection. Check battery voltage with a volt meter. If it is less than 7, replace the battery. A battery with less than 7 is likely beyond salvage due to extreme sulphation or some other internal failure. You may try to boost the battery using booster cables connected to another vehicle.
