Monitor Feature
The feature allows you to make sure that a channel is free
before transmitting.
Monitoring Channels
Press the programmed Monitor button and hold the
button to continue monitoring the channel.
If the channel is in use, your radio shows the following
indications:
• You hear radio activity.
• The yellow LED illuminates.
If the monitored channel is free, your radio shows the
following indications:
• You hear “white noise".
• The yellow LED illuminates.
To stop monitoring the channel, release the programmed
Monitor button.
