2. Extend the antenna by pulling out on the
end of it.
The antenna should be vertical to the ground
when you talk on the phone (as shown in the
following illustration from the wakeup screen
animated sequence).
3. Make sure the antenna has a clear
unobstructed view of the sky.
Standby Mode
To conserve energy, your phone may turn off its
display backlight when you have not pressed a key
for several seconds. The light reappears the next
time you press a key.
