Additional Phone Features
Lock and Unlock the Keypad
To prevent accidental usage of the phone, press
the
# and * keys simultaneously to lock the
keypad. All keys with the exception of the
S key
are disabled. You can still answer an incoming call
by pressing
O when the keypad is locked.
To remove the keypad lock, press
# and *
simultaneously.
Adjust Earpiece Volume
To adjust earpiece volume:
Tip:
The
volume control
keys are
located on the
side of the
phone.
• Increase the volume by pressing the upper
volume control key.
• Decrease the volume by pressing the lower
volume control key.
As you press the keys, the phone’s speaker
demonstrates the new volume level. The bar graph
in the display represents the volume level. The
higher the graph, the louder the volume.
Note: You can also use the volume control keys to
scroll through phone book entries. See page 87 for
more information.
