3 Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN)

One of the following scenarios occurs:
In ARS Server Mode, the display shows the
User Login Indicator icon, the ID, and In
progress, with Cncl.
In ARS Non-Server Mode, the display shows
the User Login Indicator icon, the ID, and
Logged in, with Logt and Exit.
In non-ARS enabled mode, the display shows
Offline, with Logt and Exit.
One of the following scenarios occurs:
If the user name is invalid, login fails and the user
login failure indicator (IP indicator) icon blinks. The
display also shows momentary Login failed.
If the PIN is invalid, login fails and the user login
failure indicator (IP indicator) icon blinks. The
display also shows momentary Login failed.
Wait for the logged in confirmation screen. If the
login process is successful, the display shows the
successful user login indicator (IP indicator) icon
and Logged in, with Logt and Exit.
Note: To cancel the login process and return to the
initial user login screen, press the Menu Select
button directly below Cncl.
Logging Out
When you have logged in or you are using Offline
mode, you can log out.
Note: Private data refers to all messages in the text
messaging Inbox, Draft, and Sent folder. The next
user is able to access the Inbox, Draft and Sent
messages if private data is not deleted.
1 Press the Menu Select button directly below
Logt.
One of the following scenarios will occur:
The display shows Clear private data?.
Proceed to the next step.
If the Delete Messages On Session End
feature is enabled, the radio clears the private
data and returns to User Login screen.
2 Perform one of the following actions:
