4 Consolette Capabilities to Consider for Your Applications
2.3 Signaling Types and RF Band Support
Customers may require interoperability between different systems within a single transceiver.
Both the Consolette and the Mobile-in-a-tray are capable of the full suite of signaling types in each
unit including: Analog (including MDC), ASTRO Conventional, Type II Trunking, APCO Trunking
(including Phase 2 TDMA). Similarly the Consolette and the Mobile-in-a-tray are capable of dual
band operation allowing the user the ability to communicate on one band, then change channels
and communicate on another band.
2.4 Duty Cycle
Both the Consolette and the Mobile-in-a-tray are rated for the EIA/TIA Intermittent Duty Cycle (this
is a 1 minute transmit, 4 minute receive duty cycle). A 100% continuous duty cycle is not
supported.
