Connecting the DS6878 2d Imager to your Android or Windows Device

To connect the DS6878 scan gun to your Android Bluetooth device, please perform these

steps in this order.

1) If you have ever pair the gun to the device, go into the Bluetooth settings on your device and

select “forget this device” or “unpair”.

2) Turn your Bluetooth off.

3) Scan this code to reset to factory settings

4) Scan this code to enable BT pairing mode

5) Scan this code to enable a variable pin code when pairing (most Android devices require this)

6) Turn Bluetooth on your tablet, computer or phone to “on”. Select the DS6878 device

7) You will be issued a Pin CODE. Scan the Codes that represent the numbers of the PIN code and

“End of Message” if required.
