Bluetooth Module
Optional embedded Bluetooth module may be integrated in your display. The Bluetooth
module is USB 2.0 compatible device which is based on the Broadcom BCM2045 integrated
circuit. The integration of a high performance antenna makes the module a complete
Bluetooth system.

The embedded Bluetooth module has standalone certification. The MW810 design provides
WLAN coexistence.
Installation
Generally, the drivers and the configuration utility are already preinstalled. If the drivers and
the tools have not yet been installed, you can find the install package in the
D:\Setup\Bluetooth folder of the original MW810 operating system image or reinstall the
Bluetooth software by using the MW810 Field Support Kit CD-ROM.
If it should be necessary to reinstall the Bluetooth software, proceed as follows:
Close all open programs.
Connect USB CD-ROM drive to the CPU
Insert the Field Support Kit CD into the CD-ROM drive
When the main menu appears, push the
DRIVERS button and follow the instructions
on the screen
NOTE: You may require administrator rights to install software. Make sure you have the
necessary rights.
User applications can communicate with the Bluetooth device via serial port. User
applications can turn the Bluetooth radio on and off using API functions from the MW810
Software Development Kit.
Settings
The Bluetooth module states upon turning on the device can be defined either in the display
codeplug or the CPU registry.
The
BLUETOOTH parameter of the display's codeplug specifies a state of the
Bluetooth module after the display is turned on. Factory codeplug setting is ON.
