Select the type of code you wish to change,
enter the old code when prompted, then
enter the new code.
lock/unlock keypad
You can lock your phone’s keypad and side
keys to prevent accidental key presses.
Press
B
, then

to lock/unlock the keypad
and side buttons.
Note:
You can answer an incoming call even
when the keypad is locked. However, you can
not
answer a call when the
phone
is locked—
you must first enter the unlock code (see next
section).
lock/unlock phone
You can lock your phone manually or set the
phone to lock automatically whenever you
turn it off.
To use a locked phone, you must enter the
unlock code. A locked phone still rings or
vibrates for incoming calls or messages,
but
you must unlock it to answer
.
You can make emergency calls on your phone
even when it is locked (see page 59).
