basics
If you enter a word your phone does not recognize,
your phone stores the word to use as a future word
option. When your phone runs out of phone memory
for new words, it deletes the oldest words to add
new words.
numeric method
In a text entry screen, press
*
to switch entry
methods until your phone displays the

(numeric) indicator.
Press keypad keys to enter numbers. When finished,
press
*
to switch entry modes.
symbol method
In a text entry screen, press
*
to switch entry
methods until your phone displays the
Ä
(symbol)
indicator. Scroll to highlight a symbol and press
s
to
enter it.
delete letters & words
Move the cursor to the right of the text you want to
delete and then:

Press
B
to delete one letter at a time.
• Press and hold
B
to delete the word.
handsfree speaker
You can use your phone’s handsfree speaker to make
calls without holding the phone to your ear. The flip
can be open or closed.
Note:
The handsfree speaker won’t work with a
handsfree car kit or headset.
