About Your Phone
Note: You can turn off the status light to increase your
phone’s
standby time
, the length of time that your phone’s
battery retains power when the phone is turned on but is
not in use. To turn it off, see “Initial Setup” on page 59.
Adjusting
Volume
Press the up and
down volume keys to:
increase and
decrease
earpiece volume during a call
increase and decrease the ringer volume setting
when the idle display is visible (flip must be open)
Tip: At the lowest volume setting, press the down
volume key to switch to silent alert. Press the up
volume key to reset ring alert.

Using the External Display
When the flip is closed, the external display shows the
time, date, and phone status information. It also displays
messages to notify you of incoming calls and other events.
