• For Private Call, the display shows the Emergency
Private Call icon and the initiator's alias.
Clearing Emergency Alert List
An Emergency Alert in the Emergency Alert List is cleared
when a corresponding Cancelled-Emergency Alert is
received. Else, manually clear the list with the following
actions.
• Perform one of the following actions:
- In the Emergency Alert List, press and hold the
Menu/Programmable button on the Emergency
Alert Alias that you want to clear.
- Power cycle your radio to clear all the Emergency
Alerts.
When all Emergency Alerts are cleared, the Emergency
Alert List icon disappears from the Power/Info button
option and the amber LED dissolves.
