  If the red light is illuminated on the hand control and your bath lift remains stationary, it's likely due to a low battery that hasn't been charged for an extended period (typically 7-10 days). Immediately charge the battery. If the bath lift hasn't been used recently, charge it before use. Avoid starting the bath with the red light on, and charge the battery promptly if a flashing green light appears after use. When not in use, keep the battery connected to the hand control, disconnecting only for charging or moving the lift. It's recommended to charge the battery after each bath if possible.

  There are several reasons why your bath lift might be moving intermittently: * The battery may not be fully charged. Charge the battery. * The user load may be excessive. Do not use the bath lift if you weigh over 20st/127kg/280lbs. * The bath lift may have encountered an obstruction during lifting. Lower the bath lift, remove any obstructions from the flaps, and resume lifting. Consider contacting your supplier for optional side flap protectors.
