  A bath lift may tip backward in the highest position due to several reasons: * The bath lift was not stored properly after use. Always lower the bath lift to the bottom of the bath/tub after use and check that suction feet stick to bath/tub before each use. * The front suction feet are located over rippled bath/tub surfaces. Do not use the bath lift on rippled surfaces, as they prevent secure suction. * The suction feet are located on very curved surfaces. Position the suction feet on a flatter surface. Do not use if front suction feet do not stick to contoured bath/tub surface. * The suction feet are not sticking to a dirty/dusty bath/tub surface or worn enamel. Clean the bath/tub surface and underneath the suction feet before pressing all 4 suction feet firmly onto the bath/tub.
