To resolve this, charge the battery immediately. If the bath lift hasn't been used for a while, ensure you charge it before use. Avoid starting the bath with the red light on. If a flashing green light appears after use, charge the battery promptly. Ideally, charge the battery after each bath, and leave it connected to the hand control when not in use, disconnecting only for charging or when moving the bath lift.
