15. Flush the oil suction pipe and take an insulating fluid sample from the oil
compartment via pipe connection S.
16. Record the temperature of the sample immediately after the sample is
taken.
17. Determine dielectric strength and water content at a sample temperature
of 20°C ± 5°C. The dielectric strength and water content must comply
with the limit values specified in the technical data (after maintenance).
7.3.5 Installing horizontal drive shaft
1. Secure horizontal drive shaft between upper gear unit and bevel gear with
coupling brackets and 4 or 6 screws. Refer to the drive shaft operating in-
structions for details.
