If your M.2 SSD equips its own heatsink, please follow the steps below to install the
M.2 SSD.
1. Loosen the screws of M.2 SHIELD FROZR heatsink.
2. Remove the M.2 SHIELD FROZR and remove the protective films from the thermal
pads of heatsink.
3. Remove the M.2 plate.
4. Take out the M.2 standoff from package and place it according to your M.2 SSDs
length.
5. Insert your M.2 SSD into the M.2 slot at a 30-degree angle.
6. Take out the M.2 screw from the package, and place the M.2 screw in the notch on
the trailing edge of the M.2 SSD and tighten it into the standoff.
Important
If your M.2 SSD equips its own heatsink, please do not re-install the M.2 SHIELD
FROZR heatsink.
7. Put the M.2 SHIELD FROZR heatsink back in place and secure it.
