6.6.1 Fuel filter – Replacement
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

WARNING
Fuels are combustible.
Risk of fire and explosion!
• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.
• Do not smoke.
Fuel filter – Replacement
1. Remove easy-change filter using the filter
wrench.
2. Clean sealing surface on filter head.
3. Check sealing ring of the new easy-change fil-
ter and moisten it with fuel.
4. Fill the new easy-change filter with clean fuel.
5. Screw on easy-change filter and tighten
hand-tight.
6. Replace further fuel filters in the same way.
7. Vent fuel system (→ Page 89).
